Up for sale is a beautiful aged oil painting on canvas depicting an older woman pumping water outside of her small home. This original work of art came out of a much larger collection of predominately listed Danish / Scandinavian artists of which I believe this to be as well. Monogramed in the lower left corner "F over S" dated 1942 this work is in excellent condition and well executed. Resting in its original gold wood frame that measures 12 x 14 inches the canvas measures 8.5 x 10.25 inches. Their is plenty of writing on the backside of this on the canvas and stretcher as photographed in the last three images. Painted in an impressionist fashion this work has wonderful texture and brushwork.
