Up for sale is a beautiful antique oil painting on canvas signed in the lower right corner "A. Noel" depicting a colorful wooded fall landscape. Resting in its original gesso gold wood frame which is in stellar condition makes the work complete and ready to be hung on the wall of your home or collection. Executed in oil on canvas this work has an excellent overall composition and use of contrasting color from the darker shadow laden left and right portion to the colorful light filled center with reds, yellows and oranges. This work appears to date to about 1900 and is in overall excellent condition free from any tears, rips, punctures and indentations. The frame measures approximately 24.5 x 20.5 inches while the canvas measures 20 x 16 inches. Minor craquelure is present and can be seen in images 8 & 9 nicely showing the age of this work.
