Up for sale is a beautiful mid century oil painting on canvas showing a multi arched bridge with a red boat passing under with a European city sitting in the background. This original composition is created in oil on canvas with brush and palette knife giving the work excellent texture and visual appeal. Signed in the lower right corner "Jacques" and dated 1963, I have been unable to identify the artist but this came out of a wonderful estate with some killer high profile works. Resting in its slightly dilapidated original wood frame measuring 33.5 x 27.25 while the canvas measures 30 x 24 inches. The condition of this painting is good showing the expected wear of moderate craquelure, discoloration and a bit of movement in the canvas.
