Up for sale is an absolutely phenomenal Shoson woodblock print entitled “Pigeon in Flight and Blossoming Cherry Tree” printed in 1931. In overall excellent condition, this rare print has never been framed and displayed which has resulted in the retaining of its strong coloring. With its full sheet measuring 15 1/8 x 10 1/8 inches the print measures 14 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches and shows minimal cosmetic blemishes to its margins including little creases and a slight tear left center, all of which does not enter the image.
