Up for sale is an outstanding oil painting by the talented Western female painter Barbara Elliott titled “I Head the Anasazi Singing”. This breathtaking painting shows the land of the Anasazi Indians with sheer rock cliffs during fall indicated by the yellow trees below. With the trees and tall grass surrounding a quaint body of still water, two horses are placed at its center, one brown and the other white. Signed in the low left corner “Barbara Elliott” this painting is dated 1984 and is executed in oil on canvas. Measuring 24 x 20 inches the gorgeous western style wood frame measures 35 x 31 inches making this work ready to be hung and enjoyed. Verso shows the artists ink stamps indicating that the work is original and bears her paper business card with the artists Irvine, CA address. The condition is fine while the frame may show minimal blemish.
