Up for sale is an attractive watercolor painting by the talented wildlife painter Lee Cable depicting a flying mallard duck over cattails. Signed in the lower left corner “L. Cable” the work is dated October of 1978 and has been housed in a fitting rustic wood frame. The painting is wonderfully executed and looks great when hung on the wall. In excellent overall condition the painting does not show any damage and interestingly enough the verso shows the beginning of another composition showing some blocked in colors.
