Up for sale is a wonderfully rare original stone carving from the famous 20th century Inuit artist Eli Salluala Qinuajua (1937 - 2004) . Depicting a walrus carved from an incredibly stunning polished green stone the figure measures roughly 4.25 inches long and 2.5 inches tall. The quality of the carving is exquisite and so is the condition with the only imperfection being that one of the tusks has been re-attached and is slightly loose. This fine carving is signed and numbered on the bottom and came from a collection of other quality Inuit / Eskimo carvings.
