Up for sale is an outstanding museum quality 19th century Dresden cobalt blue porcelain pitcher with intricate gold filigree work. This is a rare piece of Dresden in absolutely fine condition with no repairs, cracks or chips. The quality of the workmanship is impressive especially considering the woman holding a basket of roses is all hand painted with amazing detail! The height of the pitcher with lid is approximately 8.75 inches tall while the diameter of the base is 4 inches. This is clearly marked Dresden on the bottom as well as the model number "3". The age of this is over 100 years and this does show minimal wear from light handling including some very minor golf trim wear as well as minuscule hairline scratches which are unable to be seen unless under close scrutiny.
